Randolph College Password Policy Effective March 13, 2023
Password Requirements
To enhance security, all passwords must meet the following criteria:

Length: At least 12 characters

Complexity: Must include at least three of the following:

Uppercase letters (A-Z)
-
Lowercase letters (a-z)
-
Numbers (0-9)
-
Special characters (e.g., !, @, #, $)

Expiration: Passwords must be updated every 365 days
Pro Tip: Create a passphrase that is both secure and easy to remember. Example: "I love biking in the mountains!"
Resetting or Changing Your Password
If you need to reset or update your password, follow these steps:

Access RCConnect

Visit the Inside Randolph Login Page.

Initiate Password Reset

Click on the “Login Help” link.

Provide Your Network ID

Enter your network ID (same as your username) and select Continue.

Receive and Use the Reset Code

Check your alternate email or text messages for a reset code.

Enter the code as prompted to create a new password.

Important: If you have not set up an alternate email or phone number, you will need to contact the Help Desk for assistance.
